. Portfolio 12~20개 작품을 35mm 슬라이드나 8.5x11인치
크기로 프린트한 사진 또는 CD /DVD

3개의 drawings samples은 포함 되야 함. 각 작품은
drawing은 16" x 20" 하얀 종이에 해야하고,
2개 작품은 Graphite 펜슬로만 해야
하고, 그외 한 작품은 수채화나 잉크, 유화등으로 하거나 이런것의 복합으로 만들어야 한다.
다른 materials은 사용하지 않도록.
편입생은 3개의 drawing에서 첫 drawing은 자전거를 표현해야만 하고, 둘째것은
drawing paper의 두면을 모두 사용해야 하고,
3째것은
image and text 복합작품이어야 한다.
포트폴리오만큼 중요한 홈테스트에 관한 정보를
제공하는 학교 웹사이트에는 드로잉이라고만 표시되어
있는데 반드시 포트폴리오와 함께 원본으로 제출해야
한다.
16x20인치 크기의 하얀 도화지에 3점의 작품을 그려야
한다. 드로잉을 그릴 때는 반드시 연필만 이용해야
하며, 그중 한 작품은 앞뒤 양면에 그려야 하기 때문에
사실상 총 4점을 그려야 하는 셈이다.
올해 홈테스트 문제는 ▶자전거
▶어떠한 상황이나 물체를
앞뒤로 완성할 것
▶종이로 형태를 만들고
그것을 그릴 것 등이었다. 마지막 문제의 경우에는
종이로 입체작품을 만든 후 그 모습을 그려야
하므로
드로잉 4점과 입체작품까지 만들려면 많은 시간이
필요하므로 미리 준비를 해야 한다.
이렇게 완성한 3점의 드로잉에는 반드시 이름과 날짜를
써서 두 번 접은 후 연필 정착 스프레이를 뿌려서
원본을 포트폴리오와 함께 학교에 보내야 한다.
200~400 단어 길이의 라이팅 샘플 2점도 반드시 보내야
한다. 첫 번째는 현재의 내가 있기까지 나에게 가장
중요했던 사람·환경·아이디어나 특별했던 장소와
경험들,
두 번째는 홈테스트 작품 3개 중에서 하나를 골라 왜
그런 작품을 구상했는지에 대한 글을 쓰는 것이다.

Graduate
Applicants are required to submit 10 to 20 examples of their work. Your
portfolio must be reproduced and may be submitted as 35mm slides or as
digital image files on a CD or DVD.
Slides should be arranged in a plastic slide-holder page. If you choose to
send your portfolio as digital files, each image should be submitted as a
separate file in .jpg format.
Individual file sizes should not exceed 3MB. Do not combine images in a
prepared presentation or slideshow of any type (i.e. PowerPoint).
You should also include a printed contact sheet/thumbnail page of the
images on your disk. Please do not affix any adhesive labels to your CD/DVD.
Time-based work or performance pieces may be submitted in video format or
as QuickTime files on a CD or DVD.
Whichever format you select, include a work description sheet. Number the
examples you are submitting and on your description page list the
corresponding number, medium,
size, date of completion and title for each work. It is very important
that your full name and address are clearly noted on your individual
slides or CD/DVD and your description and thumbnail pages.
Architecture

Applicants are required to submit a portfolio that includes samples of art
or design work, freehand drawings, two- or three-dimensional work in any
media, or written material.
You should choose the presentation format — typically a folder with
slides or photographic reproductions — that you feel is most
appropriate for the work.
Graphic Design
Applicants are required to submit digital images that can be easily
accessed for a quick overview and clear representation.
Present all work in digital form (on-screen, via a website or as a
projection) supported by hard copy for reference only; please do not send
original posters, books, etc.
Submit a total of 20-40 images (please do not submit extra images
unless they are absolutely necessary to understand the scope or meaning of a
particular project)
Individual images (.tif or .jpg files) should not exceed 2MB; film
and video should be in Quicktime format; for longer works, please provide
excerpts only
Clearly organize your digital work on CD or DVD in a few folders
(for instance, indicate student projects vs. professional work)
Include a .pdf hard copy of your image list, with a caption for
each that includes medium, date and a brief description that helps us
understand
your work in context (i.e., a captioned thumbnail sheet, in binder
pages, or in book form)
Please provide a back-up disk (even if your work is posted on a
website)

MLA applicants should give a summary of design and environmental
experience.
Photography
Applicants should submit 20 images in the form
of a PowerPoint or Keynote slide show, recorded on a clearly labeled CD.
The CD should also include two separate text documents:
an Artist’s Statement (about the work submitted), and a Work
Description list. Note: Individual image file sizes in PowerPoint or
Keynote should not exceed 2 MB.
The icon on the desktop should be labeled with the applicant’s
name. If an applicant is unable to submit in this form, a sheet of 20
slides may be submitted.
Slides should be clearly labeled on the mount with the artist’s
name and numbered in viewing order, and should be accompanied by an
Artist’s Statement and Work Description sheet.
Digital Media
Analog or digital form의 20개 images를 CD or DVD or
a list of URLs and/or a 10-minute video를 제출 할 수 있다.
