- the Music Fundamentals Proficiency Exam
-Music Education:
- an audition on his/her primary instrument and/or voice,
- an interview with a music education faculty member (Interview Form제공), and

- Maintain a 3.0 GPA in all courses related to one's major field of study

- Writing sample (With a topic in Music)
-Music Composition-Theory:
- an audition on his/her primary instrument and/or voice,
- an interview with music composition-theory faculty members, and
- The Music Fundamentals Proficiency Exam
- 3-5 original compositions, 인터뷰시 제출
- Music Theory나 analysis와 관련된 a writing sample을 작곡을 대체해서 제출 가능
-Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance지원자:
- Submit a repertory list
- Submit programs of concerts played or sung
- Complete Audition on primary instrument or in voice
- Note: Vocal Performance는 a pre-screening video cassette 를 12월 1일까지,
지원자이름과 "Prescreening Voice" 를 라벨하여-Master of Music in Theory and Composition and Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition 지원자:
- Submit a list of compositions (include instrumentation)
- Portfolio of notated original compositions (theory applicants need not send scores)
- Submit recordings of performance of applicant's compositions, if available (CD preferred, no videos please)
- Submit term papers or other evidence of the ability to use language effectively
- Complete the Screening application form
-Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting 지원자:
-All Choral Music 지원자는 Prescreening Video:
- a Prescreening Video by December 1. Please label video with your full name and "Prescreening Choral" A limited number of applicants will be invited to audition. Invited applicants will be contacted soon after January 1 to arrange an on-campus audition.
- MM candidates must submit a 15-minute prescreening video cassette recording, preferably of a choral ensemble under the applicant's direction, or if this is not available, of a solo performance in the applied music area
- DMA candidates must submit a 30-minute prescreening video cassette recording of a recent choral rehearsal or performance
- Diagnostic test administered at the time of audition (DMA only)
- Repertory list in both choral and applied areas
- Programs of concerts in which the applicant has appeared as conductor or performer
-Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Accompanying and Coaching지원자:Note: 비반주학과 지원자도 반주 Assistantship을 신청 할 수 있다.
