Dear Admissions Committee:
It
is my great honor to write this recommendation letter for Mr. Gil Dong
Hong.
I have known him since faculty student interview in 1997. At that time, he
was one of the top-level scholarship students who achieved highest results
in the previous year. Hence, I have been watching him with high
expectation, especially, as a supervising
instructor during his master degree course. He obtained the best
grade ¡®A+¡¯ in my class, Digital Communication, and other relative
classes with optimistic attitude and brilliant ideas. When he was a
senior, he began involving my research activity by preparing thesis under
my guidance.
I
made him to participate in my research with the best priority after his
graduation. During his master course, he has given me very great
satisfaction. He made three momentous contributions to my research. His
first contribution was an invention of a novel signal processing technique
for SAS(smart antenna system). It was adopted as a fundamental procedure
for my project of implementing CDMA2000 Base Station, and pending a
patent. His second contribution was that he played a primary role in
uplifting the research efficiency by strengthening the solidarity among
research team members. Moreover, during his master course, he has
been worked for SAS Tech. Company, which manufactures components for
Mobile Communication System. He continuously exerted all possible efforts
for commercial use of my research results.
Considering
his outstanding performance at research and industrial studies at our
university, I have tried to persuade him to stay and to continue his work
with me. However, it has been
clear that his strong willingness to future his research at your
university. Has been more than I could bear.
Hereby, while overpowering my personal desire to keep Mr. Hong at our
university, I strongly recommend Mr. Noh for admissions to your university
with my full support. I trust with no doubt that the unlimited
potentiality that Mr. Hong has demonstrated heretofore will make enormous
contributions to your university. Should you have any inquiry regarding
information about Mr. Hong, I will be more than happy to help you.
Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me any time.
Thank you.
Sincerely
yours,
OOOO
