Letter of Recommendation

As a professor of social welfare major, I¡¯m delight to write a recommendation for Gildong Kim, who is planning to attend in your school and due to graduate in February of year 2003.

My fist encounter with her was through the practical training session in the spring semester of year 2002. During the practice conference, where the atmosphere was very serious and focused, Ms. Kim was very earnest and pensive, and yet, showed ability to express herself efficiently. I was able to concern to her interest and understanding, and moreover her willingness and self-determination devoted to child welfare during the training session at a child welfare institution. The supervisor of the institution have also said that she definitely has a talent of becoming intimate with children and passion for child welfare was distinct.

I have heard that she has continually served her community by volunteering even after choosing social welfare as her manager when she was sophomore. Recently, she has completed the course for community service coordinator. She¡¯s been taking advantages of opportunities out side of school to enhance her. Nowadays, she¡¯s participating in regional student research meeting to promote regional prosperity.

Ms. Kim has displayed her leadership amongst her colleagues and is favored by wide variety of individuals. She¡¯s appointed as the representative of the department at this present time. She was awarded scholarships several times for her scholastic achievements.

Synthetically speaking, Ms. Kim is very diligent, positive and a mature individual with a charming personality whose interest lies in not only child welfare but also any filed of social welfare or social industry as well. I can assuredly say that she¡¯s one of the outstanding students who are very qualified. Thus, I¡¯m recommending her as an influential applicant and sincerely wish for an opportunity for her to study at your school.
